Some of these trips may have already happened or the application deadline has passed but we feel the information is still useful to parents and students as they think about their time at WHS.

Your student has the opportunity to take a fun and educational trip to the Costa Rica with his/her classmates next year. This trip highlights the high activity, fitness and outdoor education experiences of our Physical Education curriculum along with the health and mindfulness practices that are so important to high schoolers at that point in the school year.
Trip fee includes all transportation, hotel accommodations, meals, sightseeing and evening activities as well as medical insurance. Price is based on 15 full paying travelers. Please register as soon as you can.

World Challenge ICELAND Summer 2020

The Summer 2020 World Challenge trip will be a 12-day expedition to Iceland. World Challenge is a unique student-led program where students are immersed in a community and culture different than their own. On expedition students trek, explore, and perform conservation service. They also manage the budget and arrange travel and accommodations. By taking charge, students develop key life and leadership skills.

Freshman can apply. They should be enrolled in an art class this or next semester. However, if they took an art class in 8th grade, they can apply.

Tour northern Spain and explore famous historic sites, discover the rich heritage of Spanish culture as well as grow in their ability to use Spanish to communicate with others.
