SYA is a non-profit study abroad program that offers students the chance to spend their sophomore, junior or senior year of high school in China, France, Italy or Spain.

SYA students attend school abroad for an entire academic year (a semester option is also available in China) as they immerse themselves in a new culture and develop their language skills. Students live with carefully selected host families, participate in a place-based curriculum that brings their host country to life and travel extensively with their class.

A year spent with SYA is truly life-changing for so many reasons.
